Aladdin Lamp Mantle Saver & Heatshield Pre Production Prototype.

This item is the marriage of two different Aladdin Products which later became the current production mantle saver and heat shield. Note that the top cap is embossed with the same lid used on the R960B heat deflector, but with a screen added. The Original R960B did not have this screen.  A bit of an oddity in Aladdin Collecting.
