Feuerhand Hurricane Lanterns, a world renowned brand and its reputation of producing the finest quality hurricane lanterns available continues today with a tradition that is more than one hundred years old. Between 1918 and 1938, Feuerhand became the largest producer of hurricane lanterns in the world.

In 1902, Hermann Nier applied for a patent for manufacturing Hurricane lanterns using a stamping and folding technique coupled with a hot-dipped Zinc plating process. Feuerhand Lanterns are still Plated with Zinc, rust resistant and are available in a wide range of popular powder coated colors. Suitable for use with Kerosene or Lamp oil, for indoor or outdoor use, even in windy or rainy conditions.
