Lanterns

The history of Dietz Lanterns dates back to 1840 when 22 year old Robert E. Deitz purchased a lamp and oil business in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout history Dietz has been well known as a maker of well built indoor and outdoor kerosene lanterns. Dietz Lanterns are often referred to as “Barn Lanterns” or “Hurricane Lanterns.”

The tubular Dietz Lantern design reduces or even eliminates flickering in windy conditions and affords portability. Air for is channeled thru the metal side tubes to the burner, making the flame burn brighter.

Dietz Lanterns are useful in camping, hiking and outdoor activities, on the patio for ambiance or for emergency light when the electricity goes out. Dietz Lanterns are suitable for use with Kerosene or Lamp Oil. Order yours today!
